Sources tell CBS News Tamerlan Tsarnaev made money selling marijuana; he was also receiving welfare benefits until last year.
Tsarnaev Dzhokhar Tamerlane, brothers and bombing suspects Boston Marathon last week, could have financed his land through the sale of drugs, the researchers believe.

According to sources, Tamerlane Tsarnaev, who was unemployed and later died in a shootout with police, made money selling marijuana, reports CBS News correspondent Bob Orr.

Meanwhile, the top Democrat on the Intelligence Committee of the House, said it was a remote control for a toy car that triggered the bombs in the Boston Marathon explosions that killed three people and wounded more than 260, CBS News learned.
